      Thumper's Vittles

      Raised by a self taught welder and self-proclaimed cowboy, Rashad”Thumper” Thirlkill was no stranger to cookouts, trail rides and parties. His first barbecue pit was created with his very first tack job on a homemade open flame grill. At the age of 10 while being taught to weld, he stumbled upon one of the world’s oldest way of cooking, barbecuing. Making it his creative outlet throughout his childhood, college years and adulthood, he became known as the Pitmaster in his circle. In 2015, he purchased his first mobile BBQ pit and setup anywhere he could, slanging his good ol’ Texas BBQ. However, as the years passed, on-demand food became a common theme. Rashad “Thumper” Thirlkill, realized he no longer needed to be confined to one space or a certain radius, which led to the creation of the cloud restaurant Thumper’s Vittles in 2021. It is the BBQ that’s served to anybody, anywhere, anytime.
